As your District 3 Magistrate I will focus on what we can do to make Calloway County a community of healthy citizens. Let’s give our citizens better day-to-day access to a healthy lifestyle by pursuing infrastructure improvements that will aid the overall health of our county. We can build a healthy community by making our streets safer for our walkers, joggers, and bicycle riders. Let’s continue efforts to improve our physical activities in the community. Let’s share the road with those who want to foster a healthy lifestyle for our children. By posting signs and improving the safety of our intersections and streets we will establish a community of health orientated citizens. Let’s expand our walking and bike paths and nurture a healthy community by voting for me, Bucky Erwin.

       Another way that I plan to improve our community’s health is to make sure that our Calloway County Magistrates nominate the best and most qualified hospital board members. By electing me to Calloway County Magistrate District 3 you can rest assured that only the best educated and most fiscally sound hospital board members will be appointed.

       I also believe that we should seek ways to make use of the many assets that Calloway County and the city of Murray have to offer. For example; we should consider utilizing the outstanding health education staff at Murray State University to make sure that our care facilities are the highest quality possible. We should also engage the highly talented business and administration departments at MSU to find solutions that will help our community grow into a health care groundbreaker. By following my vision we can create a highly competitive health care job market for our MSU graduates.
